The Museum of Antique Mechanical Organs è a unique private collection in Italy, located in the San Pietro all’Orto Museum Complex in Massa Marittima. The museum è was created by Dr. Lorenzo Ronzoni, who recovered and restored to their former glory organs and other musical instruments originally placed in churches.
The museum aims to tell the story of the excellence achieved by Italy in this art over the centuries, when we were admired masters throughout Europe.
In the museum, è it is also possible to document the technological, stylistic and taste evolution of the piano, considered an eminent symbol of Western musical civilization.
In addition to its rich collection, the Museum offers musicians the opportunity to practice on original instruments during opening hours. This unique opportunity allows musicians to experience and appreciate the sound and craftsmanship of these historic instruments.
