At San Lazzaro di Fossombrone, you can come across a spectacular canyon marked by crystal-clear pools: the famous Marmitte dei Giganti (Giants’ potholes), carved out over the millennia by the erosion of the Metauro river.

There is no lack of fun here, and to admire its scenic beauty you can take a canoe trip.
