The Castle of Cleto has an ancient origin. The Normans built the town along the slopes of Monte Sant’Angelo to the top of which built a castle that dominates the valley to the sea.. The castle hit two towers cylindrical Majestic, the first devoted to defense, it patrolled left the drawbridge. Inside a large cistern collected rainwater that could serve to quench; while another tank placed underground and blanket could contain many foodstuffs. The other tower divided into two was intended for the defense of the upper part, while the lower part to house the Baron.
