The Parish Church of San Giuliano in Castiglion Fiorentino was transferred in 1325. The part visible today was rebuilt in 1452, for the bad conditions of the previous, on a drawing by ser Giovanni di Nanni di Giunta, rector of the Fraternity of Santa Maria della Misericordia; in 1501 he got the title of Collegiate and today serves as the vestry of the new Collegiate Church. Inside it is kept a fresco depicting the Lamentation of Christ by Luca Signorelli (1502 approximately), which reveals the monumental style and at the same time dramatic of the painter.
