Morimondo

Morimondo owes its name to the French abbey of Morimond to which it is affiliated. It was founded in medieval times by the hand of twelve Cistercian monks coming from Morimond, in Burgundy. Not far from Milan, the charming village is a destination for cycle tourists who travel the many available trails, a green oasis in the heart of one of the most industrialized areas in Italy. And it is a place where time has stopped.
