Protected natural areas of Piedmont: enhancing sustainability
Protected natural areas of Piedmont: enhancing sustainability
In this video, water becomes the common thread linking three extraordinary protected areas of Piedmont, representing a fascinating journey through the region’s natural beauty. The project “From the Mountains along the Waterways…Journey through Piedmont’s Parks from the Alps to the Hills” was born out of the synergy between the three protected area management bodies, Valle Sesia, Ticino and Lake Maggiore and Ossola.
We will start our journey from the Alta Valsesia and Alta Val Strona Natural Park, known for being the highest natural park in Europe, where the pure air and breathtaking views leave you breathless.
We will continue to the Ticino and Lake Maggiore Area, a true paradise of more than twenty green oases, where flora and fauna intertwine in a rich and diverse ecosystem.
Finally, we will travel into the enchanting Ossola, a mountainous area characterized by picturesque valleys, picturesque villages, and serene rushing streams, offering an immersive experience in unspoiled nature. This trip is not only an exploration of landscapes, but also an invitation to discover the richness of biodiversity and the need to preserve these natural treasures.
