Seat since the eleventh century of the powerful family of Trentino Roccabruna, born with the founder Gandolfino Fornace. It was Giacomo di Roccabruna, in 1462, who started the construction of the present castle, then continued in 1566 by his great-grandchildren, who rebuilt the building in Renaissance style.
The castle then passed to the nobles Gaudenti and then to the Giovanelli counts who sold it to the Municipality in 1853.
Today the castle is the seat of the Town Hall and can be visited during the office hours.
