Trattoria La Posta is an authentic restaurant located in the picturesque village of Catabbio, just a few kilometers away from the Olivone di Fibbianello, an imposing multimillennium-old olive tree. This restaurant, housed in an old stone building on the main road, is embellished with the spirit of Tuscan tradition.

Trattoria La Posta offers a culinary journey through traditional Maremma cuisine, with dishes such as acquacotta, potato gnocchi with a white Chianina ragu, pappardelle al cinghiale, and pici all'aglione. There is no shortage of original reinterpretations such as tortelli with sugar and cinnamon, fried lamb, ancient beef peposo and delicious certified steaks. The meal ends with delicious dessert options such as zuppa inglese or a millefeuille with chantilly cream.

Currently Danilo, with the support of his brother Giulio, runs the family restaurant with typical Tuscan courtesy. In the kitchen, chef Orietta Pellegrini brilliantly interprets the character of local cuisine, bringing authentic recipes from the region to the table.

During the summer months, Trattoria La Posta extends service to the outdoor patio, offering an outdoor dining experience made even more enjoyable by the evening breeze from Catabbio, located about 500m above sea level.
