Also for 2025, Trasimeno Blues is preparing to transform the green heart of Italy into an open-air stage. From July 22 to 27, medieval villages, historic towns and natural views of Lake Trasimeno will be the setting for a festival that is more than just a music festival: it is an immersive experience, a sonic journey through cultures, languages and genres in dialogue with each other.

A traveling festival between history and nature

The itinerant formula, which has become a symbol of the event, will allow people to experience the Blues in exceptional settings, from sunset until late at night. Each stop will be an opportunity to rediscover the most authentic soul of this musical genre, including concerts, jam sessions, readings and meetings with artists.

The festival will kick off on July 22 in Spina (Marsciano), with two not-to-be-missed events: the Manara Blues at 6:30 p.m. in Via del Tempio, followed at 9:30 p.m. in Piazza dello Statuto by the engaging live performance of Chris Bergson & Ellis Hooks Band.

The big names of the international blues

Among the most anticipated events of the new edition, the evening of July 25 in Castiglione del Lago stands out. In the evocative setting of the Medieval Fortress, at 9:30 p.m. John Nemeth & The Blue Dreamers, one of the most biting and authentic voices on the contemporary blues scene, will perform. Following that, at 11:30 p.m., the Darsena Disco Club will host Falou Seck & The Melting Beats, with an overwhelming afro-funk performance that promises to keep the audience dancing well into the night.

On July 26, also in Castiglione del Lago, the D.K. Harrell Blues Band, a young American talent capable of combining respect for roots with surprising modern energy, will take the stage at the Rocca at 9:30 p.m.
