Christmas Markets 2025

In the heart of the Upper Eisack Valley, the charming medieval town of Vipiteno-Sterzing is transformed, as it is every year, into an authentic Christmas fairytale landscape. From November 28, 2025 to January 6, 2026, the town wears its most enchanted dress: golden lights reflecting off the snow, the scent of freshly baked cakes and Christmas melodies wafting through the cobblestone streets of the old town.

Beneath the imposing Tower of Twelve, a symbol of the town since 1486, a world of authentic crafts, traditional decorations and South Tyrolean flavors opens up. The little wooden houses of the Sterzing Christmas Market display hand-carved nativity scenes, artistic candles, scented wreaths and unique items made by local artisans, perfect as gift ideas.

Strolling among the stalls, visitors can enjoy zelten, strudel, mulled wine, dumplings and alpine cheese, immersing themselves in a warm and welcoming atmosphere typical of Tyrolean tradition.

The experience becomes even more unforgettable with a carriage ride through the illuminated streets or skating under the Tower of Twelve, where young and old can experience the magic of Christmas in a truly unique setting.
