The Delights of Pork

The Sagra: The Delights of Pork is one of the most characteristic autumn events in Brisighella, scheduled for Sunday, November 9. The event has its roots in rural tradition and evokes the ancient ritual of pig killing, a fundamental moment in rural life in the past, when every part of the animal was used to ensure sustenance for families during the winter.

The festival is the perfect occasion for lovers of good food, who can savor numerous pork specialties: from cracklings to coppa, to the better-known cured meats such as sausages and hams, all prepared according to recipes that preserve the knowledge of tradition.
