Orange Festival

The Orange Festival is one of the most fragrant and evocative spring events in the Gargano region, a celebration of one of the area’s most prized symbols: the citrus fruits of Rodi Garganico. The event is scheduled for Saturday 2 May 2026, starting at 6.00 pm, in a unique atmosphere blending the sea, local traditions and authentic flavours.

In the heart of the village, overlooking the Adriatic Sea, the festival pays tribute to the famous Gargano oranges, renowned for their intense fragrance and unmistakable flavour. Amidst the narrow streets and squares, visitors can immerse themselves in a sensory journey of vibrant colours and citrus aromas, discovering local specialities and traditional orange-based recipes.

During the evening, tastings take centre stage: from fresh-squeezed juices to traditional desserts, right through to liqueurs and artisanal concoctions that bring out all the nuances of this fruit, a symbol of the region. There is no shortage of food stalls, markets and events dedicated to showcasing local specialities.

The festival is also an opportunity to experience the village in celebration, with music, entertainment and a convivial atmosphere. The squares come alive with live shows and performances, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that draws in visitors of all ages.
