Marcialonga Cycling Craft 2026

The Marcialonga Cycling Craft is one of Italy’s most captivating long-distance cycling races, an event that combines sport, physical challenge and excitement against the backdrop of the extraordinary natural scenery of the Dolomites in the Fiemme and Fassa valleys.

Scheduled for Sunday 31 May 2026, the race starts from Predazzo and offers participants the chance to choose between two spectacular routes, designed for different fitness levels:

• Long-distance race: approximately 135 km with over 3,200 metres of elevation gain, for the fittest cyclists
• Medium-distance race: approximately 80 km with nearly 1,900 metres of elevation gain, ideal for those who want to enjoy the experience at a more relaxed pace

Both routes pass through iconic locations and breathtaking scenery: from the Costalunga Pass with the picturesque Lake Carezza, to the Pampeago Pass dominated by the Latemar, and on to the San Pellegrino Pass, the Valles Pass and the heart of the Paneveggio Nature Park. A cycling journey through some of the most beautiful mountains in the world.

The Marcialonga Cycling Craft is part of Italy’s leading granfondo circuits and attracts enthusiasts from across Europe every year, ready to challenge themselves on demanding climbs and scenic descents.

But the event is much more than just a race: the weekend kicks off on Saturday 30 May with the Marcialonga Bike Experience, dedicated to gravel, e-bikes and MTBs, and with MiniCycling, designed for children, making the event accessible to everyone.

Taking part means enjoying a unique experience, where every pedal stroke is accompanied by spectacular scenery. Amidst the exertion and wonder, the most thrilling moment comes when you look up and, suddenly, there they are: the Dolomites, majestic and unforgettable.
