Fragolosa di Buttapietra

The Fragolosa di Buttapietra returns from 1 to 3 May 2026 in the heart of Buttapietra, celebrating one of spring’s most beloved fruits: the strawberry. An unmissable event that combines flavour, tradition and fun, transforming the village into a lively food and wine festival.

The stars of the show are the local strawberries, a highlight of the Verona region, grown in ideal conditions and showcased through tastings, gourmet dishes and locally sourced produce. During the event, producers compete for the title of “Best Fragolosa 2026”, under the watchful eye of a jury of experts.

Highlights include:

• Tastings and market exhibition with direct sales of strawberries and local specialities
• Cookery workshops, including sessions for children
• Food stalls offering desserts and strawberry-based specialities
• Live music and DJ sets

The programme is packed with a wide variety of events:

• Friday 1 May: MAMI RUN with strawberry refreshments, Ferrari exhibition, Mr Fragolino & Miss Fragolina contest, and a 90s-themed evening
• Saturday 2 May: creative workshop for children, official opening with the Le Penne Nere Band and Afro DJ set
• Sunday 3 May: agricultural machinery exhibition, opening of the strawberry exhibition, awards ceremony and Farmer Night

There is no shortage of family activities, music and opportunities to socialise, all in a festive atmosphere that celebrates the local agricultural culture.
