Feast of the Love Knot

Located on the Visconti bridge in Valeggio sul Mincio, the Festa del Nodo d’Amore is an annual event celebrating the famous Tortellino di Valeggio. This culinary festival is held outdoors on the bridge and invites participants to taste delicious tortellini made by hand, one by one.

The event attracts nearly 3,000 diners from all over Italy and abroad. Most visitors come here to enjoy the experience of dining outdoors in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The 600-meter-long table is well laid out to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

The festival officially kicks off with a parade of people in medieval costume, reenacting the protagonists of the legend from which the festival takes its name.

The Valeggio Restaurant Association organizes the event, and nearly 300 waiters, a hundred chefs, and as many sommeliers work hard to ensure a perfect evening. Every year, about 600,000 tortellini are prepared by hand, one by one. The quality of the ingredients is extremely important, and all local suppliers are personally selected by the Valeggio Restaurant Association.

The dinner concludes with a spectacular fireworks display from the towers of the Scaligero Castle. This show of lights and colors is the perfect way to end an unforgettable evening.
