Event description
From 18 to 26 July 2026, Trasimeno Blues returns – one of the most important music festivals of the Italian summer, which this year celebrates its 30th edition. For nine days, Lake Trasimeno becomes the stage for concerts, shows and events dedicated to the blues and its influences, involving some of Umbria’s most picturesque villages, including Castiglione del Lago.
Overlooking the shores of the lake and dominated by the spectacular Medieval Fortress, Castiglione del Lago hosts three action-packed days of events combining live music, dance and an international atmosphere. Every year, the festival attracts artists from all over the world, offering a programme ranging from traditional blues to soul, from rock to African sounds, transforming the village into a meeting place for different cultures and musical styles.
Highlights of the programme include the free blues dance classes, open to all, the free-entry concerts in Piazza Mazzini and the major evening live performances in the amphitheatre of the Medieval Fortress, a unique setting where music meets the charm of history.
