Sorso Fest 2026

From 18 to 20 July 2026, the picturesque Rocca del Leone in Castiglione del Lago will host the second edition of Sorso Fest, a festival dedicated to wine culture that combines tastings, music and conviviality in one of the most charming settings overlooking Lake Trasimeno.

For three days, this Umbrian village will become a meeting place for enthusiasts, producers and industry professionals, with over 50 wineries from across Italy ready to showcase their wines through guided tastings, talks and in-depth sessions dedicated to quality and the culture of mindful drinking.

The event kicks off on Saturday 18 July with the Opening Party and a DJ set by Hidden-Hill, marking the start of a weekend of flavour and music. On Sunday 19 July, the public can take part in tastings accompanied by musical selections from Sunremo, Issam Dahmani and Goobee, whilst Monday 20 July will be entirely dedicated to professionals in the Ho.Re.Ca. sector, with activities and professional meetings reserved for industry insiders.

Each evening continues with music, after-show entertainment and DJ sets, creating an immersive atmosphere against the stunning backdrop of the Rocca del Leone. The view over Lake Trasimeno, the quality of the wines on offer and the charm of the historic centre make Sorso Fest one of the most interesting food and wine events of the Umbrian summer.

An event that celebrates wine as an experience of connection, culture and local heritage, offering visitors the chance to meet producers, discover new wines and enjoy three evenings of tastings, music and unique views.
