Cortile Barbera Festival in Cortile

The ‘Barbera di Cortile in Cortile’ Festival is one of the most eagerly awaited events in Castagnole delle Lanze, nestled in the heart of the hills between the Langhe and Monferrato regions. The 2026 edition, the 46th, will take place from 22 to 24 May, bringing three days dedicated to wine, conviviality and local traditions to the village.

The undisputed star of the event is Barbera, one of the most iconic wines of the Piedmont region. During the festival, the historic centre of Castagnole delle Lanze is transformed into a unique food and wine trail: visitors can stroll through the village’s characteristic courtyards, opened especially for the occasion, where they can enjoy glasses of Barbera accompanied by typical local dishes.

The ‘from courtyard to courtyard’ format makes the event particularly charming: each courtyard becomes a meeting place where you can discover authentic flavours, meet producers, listen to live music and soak up the village’s welcoming atmosphere.
