Festival of Hospitality

From September 4 to 7, 2025, the village of Bertinoro renews its centuries-old tradition with the 99th edition of the Festival of Hospitality, a symbolic event of the so-called “Balcony of Romagna.”

Four days of celebrations, culture and conviviality culminating with the evocative Rite at the foot of the Column of the Rings, scheduled for the first Sunday in September: a solemn moment that evokes the ancient gesture of hospitality, when strangers tied their horses to the rings of the column, finding hospitality with one of the village’s families.

The Hospitality Festival represents a unique opportunity to experience the warmth and generosity of the people of Bertino up close: visitors are invited to share a meal with local families, immersing themselves in an authentic experience that tells the soul of the area.

Alongside the traditional ritual, the program features performances, tastings, meetings and unprecedented initiatives that highlight the typical products and food and wine excellence of the Spungone hills, famous for their wines and rich culinary tradition.

Now in its 99th edition, the Hospitality Festival is not just a festival, but a true symbol of identity: an event capable of uniting past and present, history and taste, making Bertinoro one of the most fascinating destinations of the Romagna autumn.
