69th Grape Festival in Verla di Giovo
Event description
The 69th Grape Festival is one of the most iconic events in the Cembra Valley, a celebration that brings together wine-making tradition, culture and conviviality in the heart of Trentino. Scheduled to take place from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 September 2026, the festival brings the historic centre of Verla di Giovo to life, transforming it into a vibrant stage of flavours, music and entertainment.
For over sixty years, this event has highlighted the deep bond between the community and its land, celebrating the culture of vines and wine, central elements of the local identity. The event, organised with passion by the Pro Loco of Giovo and supported by the active participation of the locals, is a true moment of sharing and belonging.
Throughout the event, the village is filled with food and wine stalls where visitors can sample typical Trentino dishes and local specialities: from canederli to carne salada, from polenta to traditional desserts such as strauben and waffles. All accompanied by a selection of wines and sparkling wines from the Cembra Valley, the undisputed stars of the festival.
Alongside the food, the Grape Festival offers a packed programme of live music, shows, cultural events and entertainment, taking place throughout the town and creating a cheerful, festive atmosphere.
The Grape Festival is much more than just a local festival: it is an authentic experience that celebrates the grape harvest, the history and traditions of a region renowned for its wine, offering visitors the opportunity to experience the Cembra Valley through its flavours and warm hospitality.
