Summer Carnival

On 8 August 2026, the medieval village of Dolceacqua, in the hinterland of the Riviera dei Fiori, will be transformed into a riot of colour, music and fun with the traditional Summer Carnival organised by Pro Loco Dusäigöti.

The theme for the 2026 edition will be ‘Famous Figures’, inviting residents and visitors alike to show off costumes inspired by the great stars of cinema, music, sport, television and comics. It’s an opportunity to let your imagination run wild and enjoy a night of fun in the heart of one of Liguria’s most charming villages.

The event takes place in Piazza Mauro from 7.00 pm, where music, entertainment and performances will keep the crowd entertained until late in the evening. Studio 54 will take to the stage, whilst the party’s rhythm will be in the hands of DJs MuMu & Roche, ready to get the square dancing with an engaging selection of music.

The Summer Carnival is one of the most eagerly awaited events on Dolceacqua’s summer calendar, attracting families, groups of friends and tourists keen to soak up a carefree atmosphere amongst the picturesque narrow streets of the village, dominated by the Doria Castle.

An evening where costumes, music and community spirit come together, transforming Dolceacqua into a vast open-air stage where fun takes centre stage.
