Gran Galà del Gelato Brolese – Brolo Ice Cream Gala

On 25 and 26 July 2026, the town centre of Brolo, overlooking the Tyrrhenian coast in the province of Messina, will host the Gran Galà del Gelato Brolese (Brolo Ice Cream Gala), one of the most mouth-watering events of the Sicilian summer, dedicated to promoting artisan ice cream and the region’s culinary specialities.

For two evenings, Corso Vittorio Emanuele is transformed into a large pedestrianised area where Brolo’s finest gelato makers offer a rich tasting experience featuring traditional flavours, Sicilian specialities and new artisanal creations, giving visitors the chance to discover the quality and creativity of one of Sicily’s most iconic products.

Alongside the ice cream stalls, the event features shows, live music, entertainment and activities designed to engage both adults and children, creating a festive atmosphere that brings the seafront and the village’s historic centre to life.

The programme kicks off on Friday 25 July at 7.00 pm with the opening of the stalls along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, followed by tastings, shows and entertainment.

On Saturday 26 July, again from 7.00 pm, the master ice-cream makers of Brolo will take centre stage once more, whilst at 9.30 pm Corso Vittorio Emanuele will host a concert by the singer Silvia Salemi, the highlight of the event. In the days leading up to the event, details of the supporting programme will also be announced, including cookery demonstrations, conferences, exhibitions and other initiatives dedicated to the world of artisan ice cream.

Organised with the support of the Sicilian Regional Government, the Brolo Ice Cream Gala is an important opportunity to celebrate one of the region’s finest specialities and to enjoy the summer in the charming village of Brolo, amidst authentic flavours, music and a convivial atmosphere.
