Sangriafest 2026

On 8 August 2026, the picturesque medieval castle of San Giorgio Morgeto, in the heart of Aspromonte, will host the ninth edition of Sangriafest, the summer event that combines music, flavours and an Iberian atmosphere in one of Calabria’s most charming locations.

From 7.30 pm, the castle will be transformed into a party venue where the stars of the show will be the famous sangria, culinary specialities and a packed programme of music designed to ensure an evening of fun and conviviality.

Various artists and live sets will take to the stage, including Canesciolto Selecta, Jamaican Soul, Tierra De Ritmo with Daniel Zappa & Nani, and Kan Dj, keeping the audience dancing to infectious rhythms until late into the evening.

The event will feature a food area, a drinks area and spaces dedicated to entertainment, all set against a backdrop that evokes the colours and energy of Spanish tradition, reimagined against the magnificent setting of the medieval village.

To make it easier to get to the event, a return shuttle service will also be available to take visitors to the castle area.
