Event description
From 23 to 26 July 2026, Sinalunga, in the heart of the Valdichiana Senese, will host AglionExpo, the event dedicated to the Aglione della Valdichiana, an agricultural product of excellence that symbolises the region and is at the heart of one of Tuscany’s most beloved culinary traditions.
For four days, Piazza Garibaldi will become the centre of a packed programme combining flavours, culture, history and entertainment, offering visitors the chance to discover first-hand one of the most representative products of Valdichiana cuisine.
The food stalls will offer numerous specialities prepared with the Aglione della Valdichiana, accompanied by typical local produce and the region’s finest food and wine. There will be plenty of tastings, themed dinners and events dedicated to celebrating the culinary tradition.
The programme also includes a farmers’ market, cookery masterclasses, cooking classes, talks on agricultural innovation and the future of the Aglione supply chain, as well as guided tours, special openings of sites of historical and cultural interest, and the chance to visit the ancient tunnels of Sinalunga (by booking).
The evenings will be enlivened by historical re-enactments, archaeological walks, live concerts, DJ sets, comedy shows, happy hours, and tours on Vespas and in Fiat 500s through the Valdichiana countryside, creating an atmosphere that will appeal to visitors of all ages.
AglionExpo offers a unique opportunity to discover Sinalunga through its flavours, history and traditions, showcasing one of Tuscany’s most iconic agricultural products in an event that combines gastronomy, culture and conviviality.
