Tortellone Festival

From 29 June to 12 July 2026, the traditional Tortellone Festival “La Luna nel Pozzo” returns to Levizzano Rangone, a hamlet of Castelvetro di Modena, one of the most popular and well-attended food festivals of the Modena summer. For two weeks, the village will become a meeting place for lovers of good food, live music and Emilian traditions.

Nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Lambrusco Grasparossa region, Levizzano Rangone offers a picturesque setting of vineyards, breathtaking views and an authentic atmosphere. It is the ideal place to enjoy summer evenings filled with flavour and conviviality, rediscovering one of the signature dishes of Modena’s cuisine.

The undisputed star of the event will, of course, be the tortellone, prepared according to tradition and served with a variety of sauces to suit every palate. Each evening, the food stalls will offer local specialities and typical regional dishes, showcasing the culinary culture of Emilia through wholesome ingredients and recipes handed down through the generations.

The Tortellone Festival is not just a food event, but a true community celebration that brings together locals and visitors alike. The packed programme features live music every evening, including concerts, tribute bands, rock nights, dance performances, DJ sets dedicated to the 90s and 2000s, and events designed for audiences of all ages. Making the 2026 edition even more special will be the grand fireworks display scheduled for the closing night on 12 July. The fireworks will light up the hills of Levizzano Rangone, providing a striking and spectacular finale to two weeks of festivities.
