Cherry Festival

From 5 to 7 June 2026, Longiano celebrates one of the fruits that symbolise late spring with its traditional Cherry Festival, an event that combines taste, tradition and the atmosphere of a village.

For three days, the historic centre comes alive with the scents, colours and flavours associated with cherries, the undisputed star of the event and a symbol of an agricultural tradition deeply rooted in the local area.

Following the spectacular blossoming that colours the valleys around Longiano every year, harvest time arrives: sweet, juicy cherries thus become the centrepiece of tastings, traditional desserts and recipes from the Romagna region.

Strolling through the streets of the medieval village, you can experience an authentic atmosphere filled with food stalls, local produce, crafts and events dedicated to the culture and traditions of the area.

The Cherry Festival does not merely celebrate a seasonal product, but tells a story of work in the fields, knowledge passed down through the generations and a bond with the land, transforming Longiano into a place where flavour and identity come together.
