August in Corciano 2026

From 8 to 16 August 2026, Corciano will host the 62nd edition of August in Corciano, a historic cultural festival that transforms the village every summer into a vast stage dedicated to art, music, literature, theatre and folk traditions.

For over a week, the streets and squares of the historic centre will come alive with shows, concerts, cultural events and historical re-enactments, drawing in residents and visitors alike to one of the most iconic events of the Umbrian summer.

Band music remains the central feature of the event, a true symbol of August in Corciano is identity, with performances, concerts and initiatives dedicated to promoting band traditions and musical culture.

The programme will also include the ‘Umbria del Cuore’ Salons, theatrical events, literary readings and historical performances that will help to showcase the cultural heritage of the medieval village.

The 2026 edition will also focus particularly on Franciscan celebrations and the promotion of musical and compositional practices, as part of a cultural programme that is already looking ahead to the International Band Competition scheduled for 2027.

Alongside the artistic events, August in Corciano will feature initiatives linked to local historical traditions, including the national historical archery competition scheduled for September, strengthening the bond between culture, entertainment and the region’s heritage.
