Arancino Festival
Event description
When you think of arancini, you immediately think of Sicily, the gastronomic and cultural symbol of an island where Arab and Spanish culinary traditions have shaped what is now one of the most highly regarded cuisines in the world. Ficarazzi, a hamlet of Aci Castello with a splendid view of the Riviera dei Ciclopi, celebrates the Arancino Festival every September.
The festival is entirely dedicated to the arancino, a cornerstone of the local cuisine. During the event, you can find a wide range of arancini, from the most traditional flavours, such as meat sauce and butter, to more innovative options.
