Bardolino Freddo

Bardolino Freddo is a unique and surprising event that celebrates one of Lake Garda’s iconic wines in a new way: served chilled to bring out its freshness, aromas and drinkability.

Now in its third year, the event transforms Bardolino into a hub for wine lovers and those seeking innovative food and wine experiences for three days. Between the Cornicello Lakeside Promenade and Carrara Bottagisio Park, a journey through wine glasses, flavours and creativity comes to life.

The undisputed star is Bardolino Rosso, produced on the morainic hills surrounding the lake, made mainly from Corvina and Rondinella grapes. Served at a lower temperature than is traditional, this wine reveals a surprisingly fresh, light and aromatic character, perfect for summer evenings.

Along the lakeside promenade, local wineries offer guided tastings and samplings, allowing visitors to discover new nuances of a historic wine. But the experience goes beyond the glass: the event is enriched by music, art and craftsmanship, with exhibitions and performances bringing the atmosphere to life.

In Carrara Bottagisio Park, gourmet food trucks serve dishes and specialities designed to complement Bardolino Freddo perfectly, creating a perfect marriage of food and wine.
