Veneto PDO Ham – Taste Experiences 2026

The Prosciutto Veneto PDO – Esperienze di Gusto 2026 returns to the spotlight in Montagnana, in the splendid Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, from 14 to 17 May and from 21 to 24 May 2026. A revamped festival celebrating one of the region’s most iconic delicacies, featuring tastings, meetings and events dedicated to flavour.

At the heart of the event is the Corte dei Sapori, a convivial space with large tables where visitors can sample the prized Prosciutto Veneto DOP accompanied by breadsticks, cheeses, melon, DOC wines and craft beers. A complete experience that showcases both classic pairings and more creative offerings.

Alongside the tasting, the Salotto del Gusto offers events, talks and themed dinners, giving visitors the chance to deepen their knowledge of prosciutto and its many nuances through stories, guided tastings and sensory experiences.

At weekends, the event is enhanced by guided tours of local prosciutto factories, where producers reveal the secrets of the curing process, and by itineraries exploring the beauty of the walled city and its surroundings, including exclusive visits to Villa Pisani.

On Sundays, too, the town centre comes alive with a large market selling antiques, vintage items, crafts and local specialities, making the experience even richer and more engaging.
