Medieval Spring
This event ended on 3 May 2026.
The Medieval Spring returns to Bevagna from 30 April to 3 May 2026, marking the first major event of the year dedicated to the Middle Ages in this Umbrian village. An event that combines historical re-enactment, culture and in-depth analysis, offering an engaging and original experience.
For four days, Bevagna transforms into a meeting place where past and present converge, where scholars, researchers and enthusiasts gather to explore and discuss topics related to the medieval world. The event also represents an important opportunity for cultural exchange, featuring talks and in-depth sessions led by experts from across Italy.
Alongside the cultural events, the village comes alive with exhibitions, music, markets and traditional food, creating an evocative atmosphere that recalls the area’s historical roots. The streets and squares thus become the stage for an event that heralds and prepares for the famous Mercato delle Gaite.
Medieval Spring is much more than a re-enactment: it is a journey through medieval history and culture, capable of engaging visitors of all ages with knowledge, tradition and timeless charm.
