An area rich in lakeside paths of rare beauty, winding through woods, reed beds and bodies of water dotted with marvellous white or yellow water lilies. Some of the farmsteads on stilts in the reserve are ideal places for spotting the rich fauna living on the shores of the lakes. Lago Lungo or ‘di Cantalice’ and Lago di Ripasottile are the remains of a large lake that once covered a large part of the Piana Reatina.
