La Genziana is a beautiful agriturismo located just a stone’s throw from Alghero airport. This farmhouse is much more than a peaceful oasis where you can enjoy Sardinia and recharge your batteries. The rooms at La Genziana are four double rooms, one of which is equipped for the disabled. Their style is inspired by Sardinian tradition revisited in a modern key to give comfort and pleasure while remaining functional.
The farmhouse gives its guests a choice of half board or b&b. In the morning, a hearty breakfast is served with freshly milked sheep’s milk whose flavor varies according to the seasons (hay in winter, fresh grass in spring), coffee, jams, butter, fruit juices and homemade sweets , sa frue -i.e., ‘whole milk curd, to be eaten with carasau bread- sheep ricotta cheese and Sardinian yogurt to be eaten in a sweet version with honey, abbamele -honey and pollen decoction flavored with orange peel- jam, fresh fruit and cereals.
For dinner, on the other hand, it offers typical dishes paired with wines from the Alghero area with first courses based on pastas processed and cooked with artisanal methods, such as ricotta or cheese ravioli with sauce, malloreddos, revisited baskets of pane carasau and pane frattau.
