The Bene Tower is assumed to have been rebuilt in the late nineteenth century by the owner of the Good, a signorotto, on the remains of a medieval tower, damaged by the war. It was residence of D’Annunzio and Michetti, the presence of the latter is testified by his painting “The daughter of Jorio” of 1895, in which it is represented the Maiella view precisely from this angle. Recently it has been restored (1994) and is home to several art exhibitions organized by the Artistic Circle.
