Fortunato Duranti Civic Art Gallery

The collection of works of art, donated to the village in 1850 by the brilliant artist and collector Fortunato Duranti, includes among others a triptych by Pietro Alamanno, some paintings by Giovanni Spadino and Cristoforo Munari, a Madonna with the Child by Jacopo del Sellaio, a large altarpiece by Pier Francesco Fiorentino, the lunette attributed to Nicola di Maestro Antonio, and a round of Perugino. Numerous are the sketches by Corrado Giaquinto and the monochromes by Cristoforo Unterperger, with a significant contribution to the knowledge of Roman painting of the second century.

On the first floor of the Palazzo Leopardi was also set up the Museum of the Sibillini, where the most significant species of the central Apennines are exhibited. Specific didactic panels illustrate its main characteristics.
