Unique in southern Italy for the importance of fossil finds, around 15,000, which testify the geological and climatic evolution of the Calabrian territory, the Museum of Paleontology and Natural Sciences of Aspromonte is a point of reference and study for experts, enthusiasts and curious about fossil finds. The “One day as a paleontologist” educational workshop is also set up for children aged 5 to 11, where they will have to find fossils, clean them and catalog them; a certificate of the “Little Paleontologist” will also be delivered.
