Holy Lake

What to see in Cembra, Trento, Trentino-South Tyrol

Of glacial origin, its name comes from a legend. It is a very suggestive body of water located at 1200 m above sea level in the watershed basin created by the erosion of the ice in the porphyry, 4 km from the historic village of Cembra.
An excellent starting point for excursions along the Dürerweg and the European Path E5, the lake also offers short stretches of natural beach.
