Villa Fabri

What to see in Trevi, Perugia, Umbria

Villa Fabri is a wonderful 17th-century villa located in Trevi, Umbria. Recently restored and reopened to the public, this villa offers a unique experience for anyone wishing to immerse themselves in the beauty of the Umbrian landscape.

The villa is surrounded by a garden on three terraces, the archeo-orchard and experimental olive grove. This makes it the ideal place to relax and enjoy nature. It also houses the headquarters of Strade dell'Olio, DOP Umbria, and the Villa Fabri Foundation for landscape and biodiversity studies.

The villa has an interesting history dating back to its construction in the 17th century. Over the years, the villa has undergone various modifications and has been used for different purposes. However, recent restoration has restored the villa to its former beauty and charm.

One of the main attractions of Villa Fabri are its halls, painted by very fine hands. In the main floor hall, one can admire a remarkable fresco decoration, well preserved throughout, from the first half of the 17th century. The frescoes in the villa show mythological scenes, landscapes and well-known figures painted by the best artists of the time.

The villa is open to the public all year round, except Mondays, at the following and times:
morning from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., afternoon from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The park is open to the public daily.
