Church of St. Bartholomew the Apostle

The Church of St. Bartholomew the Apostle in the village of Pescopennataro, Molise, was destroyed by an earthquake in 1456 and rebuilt from the foundations in the 16th century.

Of particular interest are the high altar with its attached wooden tabernacle, some 17th-century statues and stoups, six minor side altars with 18th-century wooden and stucco decorations, and the organ.
