Apple and Grape Festival 2025

The Villa di Tirano Apple and Grape Festival is one of the most anticipated autumn events in Valtellina, capable of combining taste, tradition and discovery of the area. Founded in 1976 as a “Festival of typical products,” it has taken on a new identity over time: first dedicated exclusively to apples, since 1997 it has also seen grapes, another symbolic fruit of the area, joined in, until it became the festival that everyone knows today.

For three days the Valtellina village is transformed into a showcase of flavors and traditions, welcoming visitors and the curious with a program full of activities:

• Tastings of PGI apples from Valtellina and local grapes, along with typical mountain cuisine;
• Excursions and trips among vineyards and apple orchards, on foot, by bicycle or by shuttle bus, to learn more about the environment and the alpine landscape;
• Exhibitions and markets of agricultural and handicraft products, an opportunity to discover the best of local production;
• Conferences and meetings dedicated to agriculture and the traditions of the area;
• Animation and shows for all ages, with music, fun activities and entertainment that enrich the festive atmosphere.

The absolute stars, however, remain the apples of Valtellina, excellence recognized by the IGP label since 2010, declined in their most beloved varieties: the crisp Red Delicious, the sweet Golden, the juicy Gala, up to the oldest and most local types. Alongside them are the grapes, also an authentic expression of a fertile and generous land.

The Apple and Grape Festival is not just a gastronomic event, but a real journey into Valtellina culture: an opportunity to experience autumn amid unique scents, colors and flavors, in a context that combines nature, history and conviviality.
