
In Gubbio, from October 17 to 19, 2025, the first edition of “Ciccia – Italy in twenty sausages,” the first national event entirely dedicated to sausage, the country’s oldest and most widespread sausage, will debut.
For an entire weekend, the taverns of the historic center will be transformed into stages of a unique food and wine itinerary that will take visitors to discover and taste different interpretations of sausage, from the Alps to Sicily. Each region will be represented by a selected butcher’s shop, accompanied by a local winery and brewery, to offer authentic and quality pairings with typical breads, wines and craft beers.
The event will be enriched by concerts, live music, performances by street artists and activities for all ages, transforming Gubbio into a great feast of taste and conviviality. There will also be an exhibition market with typical products from all over Italy, allowing visitors to take home the flavors discovered along the way.
To participate, there will be different tasting ticket formulas, allowing visitors to taste the specialties of three, ten or twenty regions, in a single day or along the entire weekend.
Ciccia 2025 will be a real journey through the Italy of taste, among tradition, creativity and passion, celebrating the most popular sausage in all its regional variations.
