
The Comacchio Eel Festival is the event that, every autumn, celebrates the undisputed queen of the valleys, linked inseparably with the history and identity of the area. In 2025, the event will be held on three special weekends-September 27 and 28; October 4, 5, 6; and October 11 and 12-transforming the historic center of the “little Venice of the Valleys” into a great widespread festival of flavors, tradition and culture.
The eel, symbol of local gastronomy and absolute protagonist of the festival, will be offered in a thousand variations: spit-roasted, marinated, stewed, fried, grilled or combined with typical sea and valley dishes. To host visitors, food stands open for lunch and dinner and a widespread catering, enriched by the “Starry Fridays,” signature dinners by great chefs.
