Veneto is morphologically the most diverse region of Italy: it has the mountains (the splendid Dolomites), the plain (the Padana Valley), the hills (where very fine wines are produced), the lake (the Garda, the largest of our Country), the sea (the Adriatic coast, among the most popular summer destinations) and even the lagoon (where the capital of Venice rises). And, also from the point of view of the villages, Veneto offers a wide range of types. They range from fortified villages such as Montagnana to those in the lagoon such as Chioggia, passing through the seaside villages including Caorle and the Alpine ones including Sottoguda, or lacustrine ones such as Lazise. In short, in Veneto there is really the embarrassment of the choice. And the choice will always be the best!
