The company is managed on a family level by Darcy Gordon and Adolfo Rosati, and our children Filippo and Benjamin.
Both the old farmhouse and the land were completely abandoned when we purchased the property in 2001. We rebuilt the house, realizing on the upper floor a farmhouse, and we planted several hectares of fruit of ancient varieties, olives, vines, we have a so-called "Forest Garden" managed in permaculture, vegetables, aromatic medicinal and culinary plants and flowers, with emphasis on the choice of plants that do not require chemical treatments.
We also produce cheese and eggs from animals bred in pasture. Despite being certified in biological regime since 2004, we are convinced that the foods we produce go far beyond organic as well as legally recognized.
We try to combine the best of the local agricultural tradition (low environmental impact, few wastes, self-production plants, traditional varieties) with the best of sustainable modernity (resistant cultivars, drip irrigation, products Innovation) with the aim of increasing the sustainability of our system, producing high quality food.
We are both passionate about sustainable agriculture and we welcome guests of the Agriturismo and volunteers from WWOOF Italy interested in these themes.
