Built in the 16th century on the site of an ancient hermitage, this church exudes a quiet charm and an aura of serenity.

Main entrance: an architraved portal with a rose window opens onto a rectangular interior, characterised by a trussed roof, entirely rebuilt in the 18th century. This simple yet charming structure offers a glimpse into the region’s past and artistic heritage.

The interior of the church houses two altars, each featuring an artistic masterpiece. On the first, a Madonna and Child, a work from 1788 by Elisabetta Anna Taverni, stands out, whilst on the second, a Saint Anthony of Padua facing the Madonna and Child, attributed to Francesco Nasini, takes centre stage.

Ph.
