It has an irregular rectangular shape. The stone used is local travertine, and the style of construction reflects different periods.<\/p>\n<p>Inside, the church has a simple Romanesque appearance, with walls featuring alternating bands of white and black. Of particular interest are the two travertine holy water fonts. In the chancel, raised one step above the floor of the nave and enclosed by an iron balustrade, the altar of Our Lady of Sorrows stands against the right-hand wall.
