The interior has a single nave with a square-plan apse. The truss ceiling, recently rebuilt on remnants of the original one, has numerous frescoes: the most important depicts the Last Judgment. The chapel on the left shows an altarpiece with the Annunciation from 1483 by the Neapolitan artist Angiolillo Arcuccio; the one on the right, a wooden pulpit from 1644 by Bonavita. The large front door dates from 565 and is made of admirably restored wood. The main facade combines 16th-century and Baroque features and preserves a rich 1563 marble portal by the school of Annibale Caccavello: the lunette depicts an Annunciation in low relief.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
The Church of the Annunziata is one of the most iconic buildings in Sant’Agata de’ Goti and dates back to 1239<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":238009,"template":"","village-conntection":[51061],"what-to-see-region-and-provinces":[76129,76127],"what-to-see-category":[30159],"class_list":["post-311075","what-to-see","type-what-to-see","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","village-conntection-santagata-de-goti-it","what-to-see-region-and-provinces-benevento-en","what-to-see-region-and-provinces-campania-en","what-to-see-category-place-of-cult"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/what-to-see\/311075","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/what-to-see"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/what-to-see"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/what-to-see\/311075\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/238009"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=311075"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"village-conntection","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/village-conntection?post=311075"},{"taxonomy":"what-to-see-region-and-provinces","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/what-to-see-region-and-provinces?post=311075"},{"taxonomy":"what-to-see-category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/what-to-see-category?post=311075"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
