The deceased is laid in a supine position in direct contact with the ground but, in some cases, the presence of a wooden sarcophagus is attested. This same area is later exploited by the installation of circles of squared tufa blocks larger than the previous ones (6 m in diameter), which enclose within them a single burial in a lithic sarcophagus.
