Dating from the late 18th century, the palace is distinguished by its harmonious proportions and the architectural quality of its facade, designed according to strict rules of symmetry.

The main façade, in mixed-face masonry, is defined by two angular pilasters and embellished by a string-course cornice and an upper cornice within which windows and balconies are elegantly inserted. The entrance portal, in carved light-colored stone, is a fine example of the late Renaissance style: a round arch flanked by pilasters with entablature, emphasizing its monumentality.

Completely restored between 1997 and 1998 thanks to CIPE funds, today Mesiani Palace has a new, prestigious function: it is home to the Aspromonte Geopark Museum, included in the UNESCO World Geoparks network. Its cultural destination makes it a reference point for the enhancement of the territory and the extraordinary geodiversity of Aspromonte, offering exhibition spaces and popular initiatives within an architectural context of great historical and symbolic value.

Mesiani Palace, an elegant 18th-century building in the village of Bova, now houses the UNESCO Aspromonte Geopark Museum.
