The church stands out for its tall Romanesque bell tower, characterised by two rows of mullioned windows, which is one of the oldest and most striking elements of the complex.<\/p>\n<p>The construction of the building was made possible thanks to the participation of the local community: the materials used were sourced directly from the area and transported free of charge by the inhabitants of the village. Major restoration work was carried out between 2002 and 2003, with the roof being rebuilt and the exterior repainted.<\/p>\n<p>Inside the church, the museum of sacred art, which preserves liturgical objects and evidence of local religious tradition, and the large crucifix suspended from the vault, probably dating back to the 14th century, are particularly noteworthy.
